September Writing Update

+J.M.J.+

Hey guys! Aly here. Sorry for the longer-than-expected hiatus—I’ve been busily prepping for our little one’s arrival, and also revamping my social media and writing schedules. I’m super excited to show you guys how I’m organizing my crazy mom-writer life. But as my due date was 2 days ago, and baby could be here any day, that post will have to wait until I’m in a little bit more stable condition, physically and mentally.

For now, here’s a few updates for September!

UPDATES

-Due to the fact that I’m gonna be a mom pretty much any day now, I’m taking my blogging schedule down to only twice a month, once every other week. This won’t be a permanent change. Once I’m adjusted to my new life, I intend to come back to regular weekly blogging.

-I’ve taken on at least one editing/critique job for a fellow fantasy author! I’m excited to see where this leads; I always wanted to move away from transcription work and into something more closely related to my beloved writing. And there’s not much better than getting paid to read and critique my favorite genre!

-I’ve entered upon a new, addictive hobby—which I’ll tell you more about in September’s second post! I’ll give you a hint—it involves organization, pretty colors, and paper!

-Stay tuned to the blog for more news on The Two Kingdoms series as well as The Mending series! I’ve got some ideas churning, and with some luck (and a little time and motivation), I’ll be able to post some new and exciting updates, polls, and art for both series.

Sorry I don’t have much for you guys today! It’s been a weird couple of weeks for me, and this month is only bound to get weirder as I pass into motherhood. I’ll be back in a couple weeks to let you all know how things are going!

Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you next post!

What’s been going on in YOUR life this September? Any new ideas? Hobbies? Favorite books? Let me know in the comments below—I’d love to chat!
